Tony was concerned. Of course, he hadn’t admitted it to anyone else, but he was. He hadn’t heard from either Natasha or the young woman, and it was beginning to gnaw at him. He had been in the lab for a while, unproductively fiddling with a gauntlet, when his phone chirped.
“Well, speak of the devil.” He murmured when he noticed that it was Natasha. He read the message and walked as fast as was acceptable to the nearest elevator. He noticed Steve was already in it, the doors beginning to slide shut. “Steve!” He called, and Steve’s hand automatically shot forward to stop the doors from closing. Tony walked in, and the doors slid shut behind him. “Thanks Popsicle.”
“Did you get called too?” Tony nodded his answer, silently wondering what it could be about, they seldom got called unless something important happened. The elevator stopped silently and the doors opened, letting the two Avengers leave. They made their way down the hallway to the meeting room, where they noticed most of the Avengers had already assembled.
“What’s this about?” Bruce looked around, almost as if he expected someone to answer. Director Fury walked in with Natasha and Clint in tow. They walked to the table and brought up a screen showing a prison cell containing Loki.
“Earlier on today, we recorded this. We want you to take a look at it and see if you have an explanation.” Fury ordered, looking intently at Thor.
“Did my brother do something?” Thor rumbled. Fury shook his head.
“Just watch.” All of a sudden the image began to move, and everyone’s attention was diverted. They watched as the young woman walked into the room, Tony’s eyes flickered up to Natasha and back, and watched what followed. They frowned as they heard the exchange between the two figures, and their eyes widened as frost began to gather around the young woman. When the video ended, the screen collapsed and their attention turned to the Director. Tony was the first to talk.
“You had her the whole time?” He was seething, the amount of times he had asked after the young woman, and they refused to answer. “What did you do to her?”
“We had to make sure that she wasn’t helping Loki.” The Director stated firmly. Both Thor and Bruce started asking a question at once.
“When did she start showing signs of these powers?” “Loki didn’t hurt her?” The Director’s eye flickered between the both.
“She’s fine, and this was the first sign of any kind of powers.” Natasha answered for him. Thor looked at her.
“I would like to see her.” Natasha looked to the Director for approval. When he gave a small nod, Natasha began to walk out of the room.
“Follow me.”
You sat in your padded cell shaking slightly. Whilst the room was warm, it was almost as if your very core was freezing. You were curled up, glaring at the floor.
“The least they could do is give me a fucking blanket.” You muttered angrily. You looked up to the door, you were sure you heard the lock click. You shuffled up the wall and into a standing position. “If you’re here to-“ You stopped when the door opened and you saw Thor on the other side. “Thor!” Your eyes narrowed. “What are you doing here?”
“You are well?” He asked, moving into the hallway
“Yeah.” You drew the word out, making your way out the doorway cautiously. “You’re not taking me to see your brother again are you?” Your arms were wrapped around your chest in an attempt to keep warm.
“No, I’m taking you to the other Avengers. Are you cold?” Thor asked as he led you down the hallway.
“Yes.” Your answer was deliberately short. Your still-bare feet padded on the laminated floor, not helping the situation. Thor seemed to notice, as he leaned over and scooped you up. You gasped quietly, but loud enough that Thor let out a rumble of a chuckle. He was very warm and inviting, so you leaned into the heat. You smiled slightly, as your thoughts turned to massive teddy bears.
You could tell when you arrived, as you heard the clamour of all the Avengers arguing.
“You locked her up! What makes you any better than the people we fight!” You could hear Tony shouting. You were vaguely aware of Bruce trying to calm him down. You frowned and looked in his direction.
“But you knew about this… You were a part of it.” You said quietly. The shouting stopped and almost everyone turned to you. You hadn’t intended for anyone to hear it.
“Is that truly what you thought?” You heard Steve ask. You nodded silently.
“I take it that you weren’t made aware of my captivity.” You glared at Natasha. Tony caught onto your glare.
“They did something to you.” His tone demanded an answer, even if there wasn’t a question.
“Yes, they terrified me.”

Loki x Reader - In a Name Chapter 13
Loki led you down corridor after corridor, down passageways you had never seen or heard of before. At long last, you came down a set of old wooden stairs that led to a solitary door. You felt hesitant, but Loki continued pressing on, clearly confident in his chosen route. With a wave of his hand, and a faint shimmering glow, the door swung outward and you found yourselves in a dark forest, what felt like miles from the main castle.
You stood uncertainly in the doorway, looking out into the night gloom; the trees blocked most of the moonlight from where you stood. Loki held his hand out to you, silently offering guidance. Breathing in deeply,

When you went back inside, you saw that the little silver chest was no longer on the couch.
None of the other Avengers ever mentioned the chest again; everyone silently and unanimously agreed to pretend it never happened.
In the morning, you woke to the sound of light tapping on your door. You slowly got out of bed and made your way over to answer it.
In the doorway stood Loki, he looked down at you, “Thor and I are returning to Asgard for several days. I figured I should let you know, seeing as you’re my partner.”
You frowned. “What are you doing there?” Loki shrugged. You sighed, “Alright. Have fun.

His Companion Ch. 18 Loki x Reader
You were seething with anger at Thor, who was two steps ahead of you down the corridor to his mother's chambers. Words were popping into your head, but you were unable to put them into any type of coherent combination. Most of them were unpleasant descriptions anyways. Thor reached the Queen's chambers long before you. One of her guards was speaking to him. By the time you caught up, Thor's expression was one of amusement.
"We cannot see my mother right now. Loki is in there. Unless you want to interrupt; I rather enjoy that tactic myself. Throws the other side off their game, usually." He looked to you for a response. You stared up at him,

It's a long one! And also, I realised that I've been using elevator and not lift, is that the right way around?
